The book is simply and beautifully designed! And massive in size- over 500 pages.
Mish Murphy has done an incredible job to update her original work on Yamrus’s Selected Poems (2021) through her meticulous editing and refreshing of the book’s cover.
I had a small part to play in the creation of this incredible book. I wrote the INTRODUCTION and suggested to John Yamrus, editor Mish Murphy and publisher Heath Brougher a few dozen poems I would recommend in an expanded edition.
Terrific to see included at the end of the book an illustration by the Swedish artist Janne Karlsson who had a massive influence in promoting Yamrus’s work over the last ten years or so, especially through Epic Rites Press.
